Our Story Since 1952
Politur Kft. was founded in 1952, initially manufacturing chemical products. Sweetener production began in 1959 and has continued uninterrupted ever since. Over the decades, the company gradually shifted its focus toward the food industry: today, we deal exclusively with the development and manufacturing of food products.
We have been manufacturing sweeteners continuously since 1959 — backed by over six decades of uninterrupted professional experience behind our products today.
Over more than seven decades, we have evolved from chemical industry origins to today's sweetener manufacturing in Vecsés, operating under the IFS quality management system.

Our Milestones from 1952 to the Present Day
1952
Establishment of the company by three founders, initially manufacturing chemical products.
The 1950s–1960s
Production of undercoating, auto body putty, India inks, crystal glues, crayons, gilding compounds, thinners, drain cleaners, and polishing pastes. The company was also responsible for introducing Vileda products to Hungary.
1959
Sweetener production was launched, continuing uninterrupted ever since.
At the Peak of Expansion
During this period, the company operated across five facilities with approximately 700 employees.
Transition to the Food Industry
Over the decades, the company gradually turned toward the food industry and today exclusively focuses on the development and production of food products.
2017
A new ownership structure brought fresh momentum to growth and modernization.
2023
A new, modern production facility in Vecsés: higher manufacturing efficiency, elevated quality standards, and continued growth.
Present Day
Our 15-member team manufactures tablet, liquid, and powder sweeteners in our Vecsés facility under the IFS quality management system.
